There are major roadworks on the main A6 road between Manchester and Stockport throughout the whole of July and August 2007. Stockport Council's web site carried progress updates. If you are travelling to our office via the M60 motorway, you should be unaffected. But if you are driving from Manchester, please allow extra time (or catch the train, but watch out for Britain's peculiar customer service announcements on our rail system!). This is due to the need to demolish and rebuild the Belmont Bridge railway bridge on the A6 just north of Stockport
