Desktop publishing in foreign languages

 

At SalfTrans, we offer our clients a full solution for multilingual documentation, including a multilingual DTP service. You simply give us your manual or user guide in the format that you have used to produce it, and we translate your manual into the language or languages that you need, finalise the DTP in each language, and give you back a finished manual in each language. We also produce PDF versions of translated manuals for many of our clients.

In terms of file formats, we regularly translate manuals produced in FrameMaker, Quark Xpress, InDesign, or even Microsoft Word, and provide full foreign-language DTP in those file formats. And we are familiar with the needs of companies that use Content Management Systems, or XML solutions such as DocBook or DITA.

We are used to managing complex multilingual translation and DTP projects, to delivering a wide range of foreign languages on time, on schedule and on budget. We have the systems to enable us to do this, a team of people with the experience to do this, and the specialist tools that enable us to do this.
